Compensation Management in Healthcare - 2016
The past several years have brought increased sensitivity and awareness to four wage related issues:  pay equity, fiscal responsibility, regulatory changes (including FLSA), and competitive wages.  In turn, the conflicting pressures of each of these issues require HR professionals to better manage the organization’s pay decisions.  The Compensation Management Webinar will address each of these issues and identify inefficient pay practice related each issue.  The Webinar will also identify needed changes in pay philosophy and pay practices that will assist TSHHRAE members in addressing these issues.

Dr. Stephen Werling is a consultant and educator with over 30 years of consulting experience and 35 years academic experience.  Dr. Werling received his Doctorate of Business Administration with an emphasis in Human Resource Management from the University of Kentucky.  He is the President of Werling Associates, Inc. a San Antonio, TX based Human Resource Management consulting firm established in 1993 that specializes in the design of compensation and incentive plans and selection systems.  Dr. Werling is also a Senior Lecturer at the University of Texas at San Antonio.
