The past few years have been challenging globally and this year we can add Health Care Reform to our challenges. TSHHRAE has not been immune from the effects of the economy. Challenges are an opportunity to change the status quo and work towards bringing more ways to help our membership get training and networking opportunities in unique and new ways. Wow, that's what I call exciting!

I am looking forward to serving as your TSHHRAE president for 2011. We are going to continue to grow our services and programs this year; webinars, newsletter, Barnstorm, partnership with ASHHRA and our Annual Conference. I would also like to continue to foster relationships with other ASHHRA Chapters.

The Healthcare Industry is one of constant changes, regardless of what venue you are a part of. Let us all strive to help one another face these changes ready for success. Let the members of TSHHRAE help you through networking, education and personal development.

As the saying goes, "The best defense is a good offense"! Get involved - this is the best way to face challenges head on! Take advantage of our educational programs this coming year!
