Texas Nurses Association CE Information
The 2008 Barnstorm Presentation Series has been approved for 7.2 contact hours by the Texas Nurses Association.

“This continuing nursing education activity was approved by the Texas Nurses Association, an accredited approver by the American Nurses Credentialing Center’s Commission on Accreditation.
This activity meets Type I criteria for mandatory continuing education requirements toward relicensure as established by the Texas Board of Nursing.”

Certificates of attendance will be distributed as well as hours of continuing education credits either for Human Resources Certification Institute or the Texas Nurses Association. The proper forms will need to be filed by the attendee to receive the credits.

Your Barnstorm facilitator will distribute applications for your contact hours certificate. These forms will be two-part NCR forms. Follow these instructions to obtain your credit.

1. You must sign in twice during the Barnstorm seminar- once at the beginning of the morning session and again at the beginning of the afternoon session. Make certain you do this! If you fail to sign in, CEU's cannot be awarded for any CNE approved session during that half of the day

2. On your NCR certificate, located at the back of your seminar workbook, initial, where indicated, each presentation you attended.

3. At the conclusion of the day, sign the NCR form and hand in the white page with your original signature. Make sure to give the white page to your Barnstorm facilitator.

4. TSHHRAE staff will compare each certificate original against the sign-in sheets for the sessions claimed on the certificate. CEU credit will be awarded based on verified attendance.
